About Meg Kelly

MEG KELLY

Meg Kelly studied vocal performance and music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (M.M) and Ithaca College (B.M.). She focused her studies in vocal pedagogy and began teaching singing lessons in 2010 when she opened her own private music studio.

She has taught hundreds of students over the years, of all ages and many styles of singing. As she ventured out into writing her own songs, she began imparting that knowledge to her singer/songwriter students.

Meg also works as a session vocalist, recording demo vocals for other writers and producers.

She has always had a passion for teaching music. She believes that everyone should feel empowered to create music in their lives and is on a mission to help break down the barriers to make music-making accessible and free-flowing.

MEG IN THE MIDDLE

Meg in the Middle (born September 3, 1991), is an American singer-songwriter from Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Meg started by writing music for other artists and for tv and film placements under pseudonyms. While that is a still large part of Meg’s career, she now also releases her own music under the artist name Meg in the Middle.

Meg notes Joni Mitchell, James Blake, Taylor Swift, Lorde, and Phoebe Bridgers as her musical influences. She released her debut single “Lying with You" In March 2023.
